After the success of the Pepper II, the Hornet has a similar grunty feel, with improved stability and ground handling. User friendliness is one of Peter Lynns main focus points when designing a kite, therefore a lot of effort has gone into making the Hornet easy to set up and fly for less experienced kite flyers. They also concentrated on getting the profile shape right making a cleaner profiled kite which would penetrate the wind window even further. This makes the Hornet easier to handle without loosing stability and making it an excellent choice for entry-level to intermediate kite flyers.
